Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Builtapage ("we," "us"), operated by David Liang in Orange County, California, collects and how we use it. It covers builtapage.com and the websites we build and host for our clients (for example, sites at name.builtapage.site and the client's own domain).

We keep it simple: we collect only what's needed to build sites, deliver messages, and bill our clients. We never sell personal information, and we don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

1. On builtapage.com

When you ask for a free page. Our form collects your business name, your name, your email, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, your current website or a Google, Yelp, Facebook, or Instagram link, and a message. We use this to build your preview, contact you about it, and answer your questions. It's emailed to us through Resend.

When you subscribe. Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details, name, email, and billing address; we never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email, billing address, and subscription details from Stripe so we can run your account, and we use them to send you notices about your service.

2. On the websites we build for clients

When a visitor sends a quote request or message through a client's website, the details they enter (such as name, phone number, email, and message) are emailed to that business owner through Resend so the owner can reply. We may also receive a copy so we can make sure leads are being delivered. We use these details only to deliver them and keep the site working.

The business owner decides how to use the messages they receive and is responsible for how they handle them after delivery. If you sent a message to one of our clients and want it removed from our records, contact us (section 7).

3. Service providers we use

These companies process information on our behalf to run our service:

• Cloudflare hosts our websites and forms. Its Turnstile check helps block spam on forms without tracking you across sites. Cloudflare also routes email sent to our @builtapage.com addresses.
• Resend delivers form messages and notification emails.
• Stripe handles subscriptions, payments, invoices, and receipts.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on our pages, so your browser contacts Google to load them. Some client sites also show a Google Maps map, which loads from Google.

Each provider handles information under its own privacy policy. Like any website host, these providers may briefly log technical details such as your IP address and browser type to keep the service secure and working.

4. How long we keep information

We keep leads and messages in our email inbox for as long as needed to respond and run our business, and delete them on request when we're able to. Stripe keeps payment and billing records as required for tax and accounting. When a client's service ends, we take their site offline.

5. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, by contacting us (section 7). We'll respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity. Some records, such as billing records, may need to be kept for legal reasons. We won't treat you differently for making a request.

6. Children

Our service is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16.
